Issue Two: Rust is now accepting submissions.
Hello, contributors!
At Left Orange, we accept any form of creation—anything goes. We require a tangential connection to an interpretation of the theme. You can submit final drafts, works in progress, or drafts for feedback.
Send an email to leftorangemag@gmail.com containing the following:
- Title of piece.
b. If you’d like to submit multiple larger projects (e.g. films, essays, short stories) then please send us multiple emails.
- Your name for publication. Pseudonyms accepted!
- Brief description of your piece.
- Is this a final draft, a work in progress, or would you like to receive feedback? Reminder—publication is not guaranteed in any case. a. Final draft: Your piece will be evaluated as it is.
- b. Work in progress: This is if you want to be on our radar for magazine planning purposes. We will reach out later for your completed piece.
- (Optional) Artist’s bio of under 100 words, social media handles, and/or contact info.
- Your piece!
- Please attach submissions to your email as a PDF, jpeg, mp3, mp4, or doc.
- If your file is too large to send over email, reach out to us and we will coordinate a case-by-case submission process.
c. Feedback: Only available for projects received on or before October 25th. All feedback will be sent out by November 1st. Your revised draft must be
submitted by November 8th.
All descriptions and literary submissions are subject to proofreading and copyediting. Submission does not guarantee publication—but it certainly makes it more likely!
